Sells Goalkeeper launches new Outlast glove

03/03/2008

UK-based goalkeeping equipment and textiles manufacturer Sells Goalkeeper Products has launched its new 2008 Total Contact Exosphere goalkeeping glove with Outlast technology.

Originally developed for NASA, Outlast technology was originally designed to protect astronauts from temperature fluctuations. The fabric absorbs excess heat and balances body temperature. If temperature drops, stored heat is gradually released as needed.

The glove also incorporates removable finger and thumb protection and a newly developed H20 Ultimate latex for improved grip in wet weather. Wearers of Sells gloves include Ben Foster (Manchester United), Robert Green (West Ham United), Antti Niemi (Fulham) and Craig Gordon (Sunderland).

The company was established in 2000 in the UK and now sells its products in more than 20 countries. It is part owned by several professional goalkeepers and its products are worn by 25% of the English Premier League.
