WSA show boosts Brazilian trade
Despite the fact that visitor numbers at the Las Vegas WSA and Collections at WSA, held February 21-24, were lower than at the last edition, Brazilian exhibitors reported that they were able to secure a considerable volume of business at the show.
This includes deals worth approximately $200,000 at the fair itself, in addition to a large number of other orders that are likely to be completed in the next several months.
The show was held later in the year this year, which could explain why visitor numbers fell from 36,200 in 2007 to 28,700 in 2008. However, new visitor numbers were up 31% and exhibitors from 79 countries took part in the event.
