Footwear components company Diddi&Gori was acquired by Tuscany-based textile manufacturer Lenzi Egisto SpA on February 21.

Roberto Fenzi, administrator for Lenzi Egisto, says: “Decades of experience and research are now merged to originate a new association even more performing and future-orientated.”

“The new group asset can offer a great synergy between production units, to offer a vast variety of products."

Products will include technical non-wovens for insoles and linings – which Diddi&Gori spcialises in – anti-perforation textile inserts for safety boots (Lenzi L-Protection), fabrics for uppers, bags and accessories, and hi-breathability insoles (Lenzi AirSpring technology).

Lenzi Egisto also has branches in Brazil and China.
