According to reports, a new mobile phone developed by adidas and Samsung is to be launched this month. The miCoach F110 is designed to offer a personal training system with a built in stride sensor and heart rate monitor.

Not only can the phone tailor music to their chosen workout, it also provides training updates and tips.

In addition to the normal phone functions, such as text and call facilities, camera, internet access and music player, the user will be able to check the number of calories they have burnt and the distance they have covered during a workout.

The handset will be available in light and dark grey, red, blue, silver and pink.
