CoreGear's cooling jacket wins HPG award

US-based sportswear company CoreGear's Xip3 jacket has been named 'Most Innovative Product of the Year' by HPG, the licensing division of Hasbro, Inc.

The jacket is designed to keep wearers cool and can be turned into a backpack to make it easier to carry. The jacket is breathable and has a self-cleaning outer shell complete with nanosphere technology, which repels dirt and water. It also has an ecoSmart 100% post consumer PET recycled polyester lining. It can also be turned into a pillow which has one soft side and one nanosphere side. 

The Xip3 features Scotchlite reflective piping for added safety and has a stowaway hood for wind protection. Available in black and orange for men and women, the jacket's chest pocket provides an MP3 player outlet while as a backpack it offers a bottle pocket, a spacious main compartment, a front pocket and a collar stow-away flap.
