Zara and Mango more famous than Real Madrid

A Spanish university has revealed that apparel retail chains Zara and Mango, and financial services provider the Banco de Santander, are more familiar brands to people outside Spain that Real Madrid football club.
A team from Madrid-based Carlos III University found that more than 75% of non-Spaniards they asked could identify the Zara brand correctly, while more than 50% knew who Mango and Banco Santander were. The score for Real Madrid was just over 45%.
