US-based apparel manufacturer VF Corporation has promoted Scott Baxter to president of its imagewear coalition, effective immediately. He will be responsible for the licensed sports and occupational apparel businesses, which are based in Tampa, Florida, and Nashville, Tennessee, respectively.

He will report to president and CEO, Eric Wiseman and replaces Ed Doran, who has left the company to pursue other interests.

Mr Baxter joined VF imagewear in November as president of its activewear division, which markets branded apparel under agreements with licensors such as the National Football League, Major League Baseball, Harley-Davidson, the National Hockey League and the National Basketball Association.
