Outdoor apparel, equipment and footwear supplier The North Face plans to expand its presence in Russia and has created the new position of country manager for the country, which will be filled by Timofey Tararin. He will report directly to sales director EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa), Timo Schmidt-Eisenhart.

Mr Tararin most recently served as sales director for Puma over a five-year period.

The brand already sponsors the Russian Adventure stage of the Freeride World Tour in the mountains of Sochi and has almost completed its Moscow. It will provide a complete range of goods in both Moscow and St Petersburg in the near future.
