Management changes at Talon International
California-based supplier of apparel fasteners, trim and interlining products Talon International Inc has made various senior management appointments across its sales and operations departments.
Larry Dyne has been appointed executive vice president of global sales, a newly created position. One of the oringnial company founders, Mr Dyne was previously vice president of product development and global sourcing, as well as vice president of trim sales and domestic production for all trim development.
Chris Roberts will lead the company's trim division as its vice president of sales. He was previously regional manager of trim with responsibility for sales and product development for accounts in New York and Los Angeles.
Gary Dyne will lead the fastener division as vice president of sales including the company's flagship Talon zip brand. Mr Dyne joined the firm in March 2002 and has more than 30 years experience in sales and marketing management.
Manash Barthakur has been appointed vice president of operations for the fasteners division. He has 10 years experience in Hong Kong and China in the garment and garment accessories industries.
Peter Vaz has been appointed vice president of operations for the trim division and has more than 12 years' experience in the trim industry. Prior to joining the company, Mr Vaz ran his own trim and fabrics business with factories in China, India, Indonesia, Bangladesh and Cambodia.
