BASF to present textile solutions at Material World
German chemicals company BASF is to demonstrate various textile finishing products at Material World, held April 8-10 in Miami.
This will include new marketing programmes and quality labels for non-iron and easy care clothing and bed linen; a formaldehyde-free pigment printing system to help customers meet regulatory standards; and new effects for denim materials.
Visitors to the company’s stand can also find out about its alliance with Arch Chemicals Inc, through which it will market freshness-enhancing finishing concepts for textiles, marketed under the Purista brand, to be used on treated consumer articles such as shirts, fashion tops and bed linen.
The textile chemicals division of BASF offers textile auxiliaries for weaving, pre-treatment and dyeing, as well as solutions for pigment printing, finishing and textile coatings.
