Designer, manufacturer and distributor of high-end jeans Blue Holdings, Inc. has appointed Burt Damsky president of sales and Alicia Gabaldon vice president of merchandising.

Mr Damsky will be responsible for sales management of all the company’s brands, which include Antik Denim, Taverniti So Jeans, Faith Connexion and Yanuk. He has more than 20 years senior-level experience in sportswear and apparel. Most recently he served as vice president of Southpole’s Lot 29 division, overseeing sales of the company’s young men’s and junior mezzanine streetwear business. Previously, he served as vice president of Lemon Grass and 52Weekends, having begun his career as a sales executive for Cherokee Apparel Group.

Ms Gabaldon has 10 years experience in high-end apparel. Prior to joining the company, she was director of merchandising at Rock and Republic and Ralph Lauren. Prior to this she served as senior merchandise manager at Tommy Hilfiger, and has also served as a buyer for both Prada USA and Donna Karan.
