Gerber opens first south east Asian ATC
Gerber Technology, a business unit of Gerber Scientific, Inc. has inaugurated its first south east Asian advanced technology centre (ATC). The centre is in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and the opening ceremony was attended by more than 150 guests including Bui Xuan Khu, permanent vice minister of industry and trade, Kenneth Fairfax, US Consul General, and Marc Giles, president and CEO of Gerber Scientific.
Gerber Technology develops and manufactures integrated software and hardware automation systems for the sewn products and flexible materials industries. These systems automate and help to improve the efficiency of information management, product design and development, pre-production and production processes. End-user markets include apparel, transportation interiors, furniture, composites and industrial fabrics.
