New global label summit launched
The organisers of Labelexpo and Label Summits have launched the Global Digital Label Summit, the first edition of which will take place on March 23-24, 2009, in Barcelona.
The aim is to provide a forum to discuss the present and future of digital processes. The event is expected to attract a range of technology developers, suppliers, printers and end-users. It will focus on all aspects of digital processes from pre-press to the full-scale implementation of the digital workflow.
The conference will offer case studies on digital processes and will explore new technology and applications for digital printing of labels, tickets/tags and flexible packaging. It will also assess opportunities for combination printing. End-users will be invited to talk about their digital requirements and expectations for the future developments.
