Textile and clothing production falls

Italian statistics office ISTAT has reported a 0.8% drop in industrial production for February compared with February 2007 and a 0.2% decline compared with January production.
While energy production rose 7.1%, textile and clothing production fell 3.6% and leather and footwear production dropped 10.2%. Other sectors registering a decline include petrol, wood and wooden items.Share this story:
