Invista employs Zemeter Demand Planner
Fibre and polymer manufacturer Invista's performance surfaces and materials division has decided to use the Zemeter Demand Planner in order to manage the overall accuracy and financial state of its supply chain. The division provides solutions for segments such as its Solarmax and Cordura fabrics, automotive goods and flooring.
The software helps users maximise margins and provides a process to quickly manage demand, supply disruptions or special events. It evaluates planned changes to markets including sourcing patterns, capacity, transportation and distribution, and interfaces with Invista’s SAP ERP system.
“We needed a demand planning tool to enable the creation of a detailed and reliable plan that takes into account the wide variety of variables that can impact our day-to-day business decision-making,” said Tony Gehringer, North America supply chain manager for performance surfaces and materials.
The Zemeter suite of supply chain management (SCM) software products is provided by Supply Chain Consultants.
