Gaastra to dress Mean Machine sailing team
Netherlands-based nautical clothing brand Gaastra and saililng team the Mean Machine have joined forces for the upcoming TP 52 2008 season. Gaastra will develop and supply Peter de Ridder’s team with a specially designed line Pro clothing for racing and sportswear for when they are on shore.
A design team from Gaastra has been working intensively with the Mean Machine TP 52 team to develop an exclusive line of clothing for the crew to wear as they battle for victory in the Audi MedCup Circuit. Technical garments will be made from breathable fabrics and will offer maximum movement. Fabrics will be light, but warm, and will be produced in the Mean Machine team colours.
Since October 2000, Gaastra International Sportswear B.V. has been a part of the European fashion house McGregor Fashion Group.
