Belgium conference looks at nano textiles

The second International Scientific Conference entitled 'Textiles of the Future' will be held on November 13-15 in Kortrijk, Belgium. The main focus will be on nano textiles, but other focus topics will include: intelligent textiles; conductors and semi-conductors; heating fabric; integration technologies; advanced technical textiles and composites; textile architectural structures; sustainable development; new textile design concepts; and advanced materials.

The conference coincides with the second Futurotextiel exhibition in Kortrijk, a joint initiative between the regions of Flanders and the North of France. These regions have a long and outstanding tradition in textile production as well as in research and development in this area.
