Pentland receives business award
UK-based brand management company for the sports, outdoor and fashion sectors Pentland Group has been won an award for being one of the Best Family Businesses in the UK.
Bestowed by JPMorgan Private Bank and the Institute for Family Business, the award was given for excellence in business success and social responsibility – both towards employees and the community.
Head of family business at JPMorgan, Kate Murphy, said: “Family businesses make a tremendous contribution to the economic and social fabric of the UK. Pentland Group is testament to the acheivements of UK family firms and an inspiration to others.”
Pentland owns brands such as Speedo, Berghaus, Ellesse, Brasher, Mitre, Red or Dead and Boxfresh. It is also global footwear licensee for Lacoste and Ted Baker and UK licensee for Kickers.
