Netherlands-based chemicals company recently participated at the International Congress of the IFATCC (the International Federation of Associations of Textile Chemists and Colorists), which was held in Barcelona, Spain from May 6-9. The event was organised by the AEQCT (Asociación Española de Químicos y Coloristas Textiles), which celebrated its 50th anniversary this year.

Tanatex’s global product manager finishing, Johan Cleyman, spoke at the event on 'Polyethylene’s and Sewability’. The company received an award from the AEQCT on May 8 for its support of the association and of the textile industry in general. The award was presented at Pedralbes Castle by AEQCT’s chancellor and was accepted by Tanatex’s sales manager, Alex Vila.
