Staff changes at AAFA
The American Apparel and Footwear Association (AAFA) has promoted directors Nate Herman and Susan Lapetina to senior director of international trade and senior director of industry relations, respectively.
Mr Herman has been with the association for six years, and is primarily responsible for international trade lobbying as well as spearheading AAFA’s social and environmental initiatives. Ms Lapetina has been with AAFA for nine years, and works with staff in developing the education programming as well as planning AAFA’s Annual Executive Summit.
Both are staff liaisons for various AAFA committees, and together, guide the AAFA footwear division and AAFA footwear division board of directors as co-liaisons. They also ensure footwear companies and their suppliers are represented on Capitol Hill.
