Terrot turns up the goods at Tüyap
Circle knitting machine producer Terrot recently exhibited its latest products at Turkish trade fair Tüyap. The Turkish market is an important one for the Germany-based firm, as are its close neighbours, such as Iran, Russia, Ukraine and Syria. The company showcased four circular knitting machines at the event, which mainly attracted mill managers and owners.
These include: the S296-1 Open Width, a single-jersey high production machine with a new compact open width frame; the S6F348, a single-jersey six-colour striper machine; the UCC548T, an electronically controlled jacquard double-jersey machine with transfer technique; and the UCC572M, an electronically controlled jacquard double-jersey machine.
The company has been supplying circular knitting machines to Turkey since around 1920 and there are currently 10,000 Terrot machines are in the market.
