New zip unit in Adamjee

Indian firm M/s. Tex Zippers (BD) Limited is to set up a garment and accessories manufacturing plant in the Adamjee export processing zone in Bangladesh.

This company will invest approximately BDT230 million ($3.4 million) to build the unit and will produce 250 million different type of zippers. It will generate jobs for approximately 160 workers.

An agreement was signed between the Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA) and the M/s. Tex Zippers in the BEPZA Complex, Dhaka. The company's managing director, Vijay Toley, met with BEPZA member Prasanta Bhushan Barua to seal the deal.
