21% sales increase at Hi-Tec

Sports and outdoor footwear brand Hi-Tec has posted a 21% sales increase for its first quarter compared with the first quarter of 2007. The company has attributed this growth to its increasingly strong position within the outdoor sector and continued expansion with its European distributors. It V-Lite collection has continued to perform well and demand for the lightweight, high-tech range has risen steadily.

Hi-Tec was named “best selling men’s and ladies trainers brand” by Drapers and was nominated at this year's Sports Industry Awards for the first time ever for its nanotechnology ion-mask. The company has also received “best value” awards from Running Fitness, Trail and TGO.
