Vancouver-based sports apparel company Sugoi has launched new performance gear for the autumn season.

The Firewall 220 is a maximum thermal windproof protection line for use during aerobic winter activities. The softshell range has a windproof, water repellent barrier but is designed not to be bulky. It balances weather protection and thermal regulation as well as four-way stretch. Products include jackets, vests, bibs and trousers.

Sugoi's new Majik Shell is said to offer waterproofing and breathability. Its 2.5 ply construction combines stretch and minimal bulk with functionality; it offers taped seams and pocket-sized packability.

The company has also expanded it Wallaroo range. Wallaroo wool offers a dry comfortable environment with breathability, temperature regulation and moisture control. Furthermore, it is hypoallergenic and biodegradable. The extended range includes Wallaroo 290, a winter-weight wool combining comfort and warmth. It uses smooth, superfine 17 micron wool fibres in a denser weave to create luxurious winter apparel with a soft feel. The line includes full zips, long and short sleeve shirts, zip shirts, boxers, leggings, a retro-style cycling jersey and socks. Wallaroo comes in three fabric weights - a super-light that weighs 170g/m², the 210g/m² and 290g/m².
