Visitor numbers at Denim by PV up 22%

Denim by Première Vision, held June 4-5 in Paris attracted 22% more visitors than the previous, inaugural edition held last December. The show welcomed 1,500 visitors from the jeanswear sector and hosted 61 exhibitors - including weavers, manufacturers and accessory manufacturers - from 14 countries. International visitors accounted for 62% of the overall quota, coming from 40 countries. Italy was the second best represented country after France, followed by Turkey and the UK.

Many brands participated at the event including Diesel, Guess, Closed, Mustang, Lee Cooper, Wrangler, New Man, Levi Strauss, Miss Sixty, Pepe Jeans, Citizens of Humanity and Corleone, all of which showcased autumn-winter 2009-2010 collections. Representatives from Chloé, Stella McCartney, Marc Jacobs, Tommy Hilfiger, Paul Smith, Armani, Ralph Lauren, Balenciaga, Esprit, Chevignon, Chipie and Sandro, as well as H&M, Mango, Massimo Dutti and Next also attended.

The next event will take place December 3-4.
