Santex makes cutbacks

Santex Group is to make structural changes involving downsizing at its Malo, Italy, site. It claims the move is designed to relocate production facilities closer to its end markets as well as reducing costs. Relocation is limited to manufacturing-related departments and will not impact customer service facilities.

Production will be moved to other Santex manufacturing sites, which will be fully operative by December. Production of Sperotto Rimar's products, mainly for wool finishing and solvent scouring – specifically Decofast, Fixa, Nova and Universa – will be relocated to the Tobel, Switzerland, facility.
