Italian fabric developer Eurojersey recently sponsored the Lingerie and Swimwear May Ball, held in London, for the second year running.

A representative of the 'Made in Italy' sector, Eurojersey's Sensitive fabrics have been a mainstay of both the lingerie and swimwear industries for some years in collections from various major brands. High-performance plus size underwear for women is one of the most recent applications for its fabrics, which now appear in intimate apparel ranges from a D-cup upwards as well as for smaller sizes. The fabrics are used to provide extra support as well as providing an elegant and feminine look. Underwear ranges featuring Sensitive fabrics aim to act as a second skin, offering breathability, softness and lightweightness.

Meanwhile, beach and swimwear lines featuring Sensitive fabrics are now said to be lighter, more attractive, and offer increased performance. Many items feature Sensitive Life, a new generation fabric offering advanced shape retention and garment wearability. Having been awarded Invista's Xtra Life Lycra certification, Sensitive Life also offers protection against the damaging effects of chlorine, salt and mineral salts and other substances (to be found in thermal spas), sun cream, cosmetics and mud.
