Fibertex invests in new technology
Denmark-based nonwovens firm The Fibertex Group is to invest approximately €18 million in two new state-of-the-art production lines. It has decided to modernise the technical division’s production facilities in both Denmark and the Czech Republic.
A new air-lay line will be established in the Czech Republic and a needle punch high-capacity line will be set up in Aalborg, Denmark, to replace older production lines. It expects the new lines to be fully operational from mid-2008.
End-use applications for the company's nonwovens – which have been in production since 1968 – include geotextiles, composites and bedding.
