Oregon-based performance apparel company for on-the-go women lucy activewear inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of VF Corporation, has appointed Kira Karmazin vice president of merchandising and marketing for the lucy brand. Ms Karmazin will be responsible for developing brand growth strategies and will report to the firm’s president, Michelle Lantow.

She has more than 18 years merchandising experience to the company. She previously served as vice president of merchandising for Coldwater Creek, Victoria's Secret, and Gap Inc.

Ms Karmazin plans to introduce an increased selection of studio and outdoor apparel for active women, along with new technical fabrics to complement the signature lucy performance items.
