Current chairman of the Swiss Textile Federation, Max Hungerbühler (Bischoff Textil AG, St. Gallenis) is to remain in the post for another term, which will end in 2011. The unanimous decision was made at the federation's annual general meeting on June 17, which tool place in Solothurn.

It was also decided at the meeting that Urs Rickenbacher (Lantal Textiles, Langenthal) would be newly appointed to the committee and the Commission for Training Matters and Furtherance of Young People. Nicole Camenzind (Camenzind + Co. AG, Gersau) is to join the Commission for Employer and Social Policy (KARSO), Andreas Sallmann (ISA Sallmann AG, Amriswil) will join the Commission for PR and Collective Advertising (KPK) and Simon Gleich (Kuny AG, Küttigen) will jois the Commission for the Environment and Technology (KUT).
