Hyosung opens Vietnam and India facilities
Korea-based spandex producer Hyosung Corporation has opened a new production facility in Nhon Trach, Vietnam, and a new liaison office in New Delhi, India, to help extend its influence in Asia.
The Vietnam plant will help the company meet increasing demand for its creora brand. “We have invested $100 million to manufacture 15,000 tons of creora annually in the Vietnam facility, as the next step in Hyosung’s global growth strategy and to better serve the southeast Asian markets," said president, Mr CH Lee.
The New Delhi office will be used to improve customer service in the region. “We believe that as cost for better goods seem to be increasing in India and other southeast Asian markets, we are in best position to meet customers needs with our proprietary technology,” said Mr Lee.
