Advansa keeps Formula 1 cool

Advansa's Thermo°Cool fabric is to be used in the latest Formula 1 official licensed garment collection.

“Formula 1 is all about performance,” says Dr Murat Tarsuslugil, president of Tars International, the exclusive official licensee for the Fernando Alonso garment and replica collection, which also manufactures the F1 official collection. “And that is behind our idea of “intelligent design” for the official licensed garment collection,” he said.

The fabric will also be used for the official staff uniforms of the “A1GP Powered by Ferrari”, A1GP is the World cup of Motor sports where competitors represent their nation as opposed to a constructor.

Thermo°Cool is a high-performance material made from a hybrid-fibre mix, which provides adaptive smart dual function: evaporative cooling and thermo-buffering.

The fabric’s temperature is controlled to help keep wearers comfortable in a wide range of temperatures and during various activities.

The new licensed Formula 1 garment collection will be on sale both trackside during Formula 1 weekends, and through retailers such as Karstadt, Tesco, El Corte Ingles and Intersport.
