Expofil attracts new exhibitors
Several new and diverse exhibitors will attend Expofil in Paris from September 23-26.
These include Karsu Tekstil, a Turkish spinner of Modal, for which it has exclusive rights in Turkey. The company will launch a new fibre developed in collaboration with Lenzing in September. It currently produces 15,000 tonnes of yarn per year made from a range of fibres including cotton, viscose, linen, wool, bamboo, soya and Tencel and using ring, open-end and air-jet techniques. China-based Hebei Jigao Chemical Fiber will also partipate for the first time. Focused on ecology and sustainable development, the company markets bamboo, cotton, hemp and linen in the form of pulp and fibre for the clothing and household textile industries. It will present its bamboo fibre, Tanboocel, at Expofil. Other new exhibitors include Taiwanese firm Kantex, which produces bouclé, knop and slub yarns, and Japanese machine manufacturer, Murata Machinery, which will present its Vortex air-jet spinning process. The yarns produced using this technique are resistant to pilling, abrasion and washing. Returning exhibitors will include Fil Man Made, an Italian company specialising in performance yarns and French firm Filatures du Parc, which will display yarns made from regenerated material.
