BASF to present eco solutions at ITMA and CITME
German chemicals company BASF is to present new eco solutions for the textile industry at the ITMA Asia and CITME exhibition in Shanghai from July 27-31. Visitors to its stand will be able to see and discuss a range of ecological textile solutions under the three key aspects: consumer safety, resource saving and climate protection.
“Ecology is certainly not new to BASF, but a special focus on consumer safety, resource saving and, especially, climate protection is crucial as this will be a major challenge to the textile industry in the near future,” explains Janardhanan Ramanujalu, head of global business management textile chemicals, BASF South East Asia Pte. Ltd
The company’s solutions will focus on: Formaldehyde-free textile processing including Helizarin and Fixapret; resource saving products such as Cyclanon Eco Plus, Super Performance Finish and Helizarin Ecosoft Printing System; climate protection solutions such as Color Fast Finish and the company’s Eco-efficiency Analysis.
