Under Armour appoints new president
Under Armour, Inc. has appointed David McCreight president, responsible for developing and executing the long-term strategy for growth, implementing new practices and managing the company's core businesses, which include apparel, footwear and accessories. He is expected to take up the post in September.
Mr McCreight will join the company from Lands' End, a division of the Sears Holding Corporation, where he served as president. Previously, he served as senior vice president of Disney Stores Worldwide and as president at Smith and Hawken.
Current president, Kevin Plank, will continue to serve at the firm as chief executive officer and chairman of the board of directors.
