Invista presents at Lycra Rendezvous
Integrated fibres firm Invista showcased various fibres and fabrics at Lycra Rendevous in India. Various textile mill representatives joined international Invista experts and prominent designers at the event.
Invista’s product innovations inclided Xfit Lycra, which Mario Lucietti of Invista Apparel discussed at length, and Lycra Black fibre.
Sales director, Invista Apparel, South Asia, Andrew Evans spoke about the brand’s new advertising campaign entitled ‘Some Clothes Love You Back’. "The campaign is built on the LYCRA fiber brand's unique understanding of how women are shaped, how they move and how they want their clothing to look and feel,” he said.
Other key products and applications highlighted at the event included T400 fibre, lightweight woven stretch shirtings, circular knits and Coolmax.
Other brands showcasing collections featuring Lycra included Pepe Jeans, Park Avenue, Lee Cooper, Adidas, Reebok and Westwood.
Fabric innovations from Arvind Mills Ltd (Denim), Carvico Spa Italy, Balavigna Weaving Mills Pvt Ltd, Banswara Syntex, K. G. Denim Ltd, Raymond UCO Denim, Vardhman Textiles Limited, Alok Industries Limited and Bonjour International were also presented.
