New board director at VF
Charles Bergh has been elected as a board director at branded lifestyle apparel firm VF Corporation, effective immediately. Mr Bergh is group president, global personal care for the Procter & Gamble Company (P&G).
Mr Bergh has held various leadership roles during his 25-year career with P&G, and has held his current role since 2007.
"He has extensive international business and brand management experience, and his successful track record of growing leading brands for one of the most respected consumer packaged goods companies in the world will provide valuable perspective to the Board," said chairman Mackey McDonald.
VF Corporation’s portfolio includes jeans wear, outdoor, image wear, sportswear and contemporary apparel brands. Its principal brands include The North Face, Vans, Reef, JanSport and Nautica.
