Final OutDoor report shows higher visitor numbers
"It was very clear at the show that the entire nature sports movement has gained considerable momentum in recent years," says Stefan Reisinger, OutDoor project manager. "Exhibitors reported positive sales talks with a highly international and professional audience."
"It was a better trade fair once again, and the growth was very evident. But this didn't entail a sacrifice in quality. We were able to maintain the same high standards," said Rolf Schmid, president of the European Outdoor Group (EOG) and CEO of the Mammut Sports Group.
"We are delighted to see that the issue of sustainability has been approached in a very constructive manner," said Mark Held, EOG general secretary. "It was a milestone for this trade show that processes have been launched to make the industry more sustainable over the long term."
The next OutDoor show will take place July 16-19, 2009.
