US-based HB Fuller Company is to increase its investment in the Asia Pacific region by building a new hot melt moisture cure and polyisobutylene manufacturing facility in China. Construction of the new facility is expected to start early next year and production is likely to begin in early 2010.

The new facility, together with the company's new Asia Pacific technology centre, will enable it to provide for its customers in the region more effectively. The facility will produce specialty adhesives for textile and performance wood applications, including insulating glass, textile lamination and footwear.
