Higher exhibitor numbers at Asia Outdoor
More exhibitors are attending the third Asia Outdoor, which runs July 30 to August 2 in Nanjing, China. According to organisers, 241 international exhibitors will showcase their innovations and new products at the event compared with 207 last year.
European Brands such as Vaude, Lowa, Meindl, Deuter, Northland and Tatonka, Salomon, Tecnica, Dolomite and Bergans will appear. The number of exhibitors from China and Taiwan is also growing.
Visitor numbers are also rising; last year around 8,000 trade visitors came to the fair, while this year up to 10,000 are expected to attend.
The ‘North Face Cup–Asia Outdoor Climbing Competition’ will take place at the show for the first time. The Cup is being organised by the Chinese Mountaineering Association and the contract will run for three years.
There will be a focus on bikes at this year’s fair, with Sanfo (Peking and Shanghai), Green Ant (Xian), Redfox (Shenzhen), Trek USA and Giant all appearing.
