Reebok to boost its footwear business in India
New Reebok Classics stores are to be opened in India, offering sports, lifestyle and fashion goods. It will carry goods such as the Classics collection, DGK, Evolution and NFL as well as the Dhoni 7 collection and Fish Fry for Reebok, designed by Manish Arora. These additional stores will offer collections that have been inspired by contemporary trends relevant to the youth of India.
The managing
director of Reebok India, Subhinder Singh Prem, said: “As fashion takes a new connotation with
being ‘fun’, ‘savvy’, and ‘futuristic’, Reebok is introducing sports
inspired style to help up the ‘cool quotient’ of our young consumers.
Reebok Classics Stores fuse sports and fashion to offer the consumer a
unique fashion experience.
“We are bringing forward four
upcoming trends for the youth in the fall-winter ’08 collection. We
have nearly 20 Reebok Classics stores across the country already and we
plan to take the figure up to 75 stores by the end of the year.”
