The theme for the World Eco-Fibre and Textile Forum, which will be held on September 12-14 in Sarawak, Malaysia‚ is ‘Textiles and Fibres - The Untold Stories’.

The conference objectives are: to share knowledge about natural fibres and dyes; to encourage the use of natural, sustainable materials; to establish an information database and develop a marketing network; and to co-ordinate research and study into the traditional use of natural fibres and dyes.

The three day forum will have nine main sessions. It will also include an International Exhibition and a Bazaar for Eco-Fibres and Textiles, a Pua-Kumbu Warp Ikat Weaving Competition and Exhibition, and a gala dinner and international fashion show.
