More than 25,000 visitors at IFFF

The 12th International Istanbul Fashion Fair (IFFF), which ran from August 28-30, attracted 25,000 visitors and more than 550 exhibitors from approximately 33 countries. Items on display included sportswear, ready-to-wear, lingerie and accessories. A strong participation from Russia, Romania, the UK and Hong Kong was registered.
The event started with a ‘butterfly-effect’ themed runway show that featured collections from Turkish designer Tuvana Büyükçinar and her ready wear line Tutti for spring-summer 2009. The five finalists of the Young Fashion Designers Competition also presented their designs.
The 13th IFF will be held February 5-7, 2009.
