Chinese textile industry grows

According to figures from the Chinese National Bureau of Statistics, industrial enterprises with an annual income of more than five million yuan ($732,655) grew 14.7% year-on-year in July. Growth for the January to July period was 16.1%.
The textile sector was a major contributor to the overall increase in July, growing 10% year-on-year. The raw chemical materials and chemical products sector grew15.5%. Exports for industrial enterprises totalled 697.7 billion yuan, up 14.4%.Share this story:
