Big chemical brands to attend Intertextile
08/09/2008
One highlight will be four booths set up by international chemical fibre manufacturers to demonstrate appropriate applications for their speciality products. Austrian company Lenzing has invited 37 weaving mills that use the products to see its Tencel and Lenzing Modal knitted and woven collections. By including weaving mills at the booth, it will help visitors to understand the products and to source fabrics containing them more easily. Lenzing will also feature its Promodal, Micromodal, Lenzing FR and viscose brands and will display entries to its Fabric Competition in its booth. Visitors can register at the booth to serve on the contest jury.
USA-based Invista will set up a booth featuring 35 mills that use its Coolmax, Lycra and Thermolite brands. It will also demonstrate products in the new Lingerie & Swimwear Fabrics zone.
Dow Fibers Solutions will present its XLA brands showing applications for denim products and other products from its global mill partners. The firm will also present trend forecasting for autumn-winter 2009-2010.
Korean company Hyosung will showcase its Creora brand with the help of nine mills as well as its Mipan nylon fibre line and latent crimped yarn XANADU 55, a flexible polyester.
