Italian thermal insulation firm Thermore SpA has appointed Alëna Kitaeva as a permanent representative in Russia and Ukraine. This will allow the company to stay in close contact with the relevant garment brands and factories in these countries and to respond to higher demand.

Ms Kitaeva, a Russian national, was educated as a fashion designer at the Textile Industry’s University in Moscow. Her last post was purchasing manager for Russian womenswear brand Gota.

Thermore specialises in thermal insulation for the sports and clothing industry and is part of Gruppo FI.SI (Fibre Sintetiche). Approximately 100 people work for the company, which has production sites are in Thailand, Italy and the USA.
