UK-based outdoor apparel and equipment firm Berghaus hopes to open 200 shops in China with the help of Symphony Resources Limited, a subsidiary of Hong Kong-based Symphony Holdings Limited.

The deal will initially last for six years is likely to see the brand become one of the world’s top five outdoor brands. According to reports, the brand is hoping to open 400 stores across Asia in the next five years. It already has 24 stores in South Korea and recently signed an agreement with licensee Arugo Active to expand its offering in Japan.
