Oeko-Tex and NanoHorizons among participants at The Green Event
Textile certification body Oeko-Tex and nanoscale antimicrobial performance additives developer NanoHorizons, Inc. are to participate in the inaugural eco-textile industry conference, The Green Event. The event will take plce at the Millennium Hotel in New York City from September 18-19.
Oeko-Tex will be part of the Green Stamps expert panel which will give attendees practical advice on textile certification programmes to support their own sustainability strategies.
Dina Dunn, who will represent Oeko-Tex on the panel, says: “Interest in sustainable and environmental textiles is at an all-time high with consumers and retailers. However, textile products executives need to thoroughly understand the many options available in today’s global market so they can make the most effective choices for their company and their customers.”
NanoHorizons executives will meet with conference participants in the Expo Hall in Galley 8 during the event.
