New creora innovations at Interfilière

Korea-based Hyosung Corporation’s elastane brand, creora, showcased fibres, fabrics and garment trends at Interfilière, held in Paris from September 6-8.

H-550 was one of the fibre innovations launched, a new low settable elastane which helps to save energy in circular knitting. It gives soft hand touch, reduces yellowing and fabric curling, offers good mouldability and chlorine resistance, and can be re-dyed and over-dyed. H-550 can be blended with other eco-aware fibres as well as with standard cotton, cellulosics, wool, silk, rayon and nylon acrylic.

Some of the fabrics shown in the creora Partners Innovation Corner were: lightweight and fine gauge fabrics with creora lite from Louis Vidon, PT Winnersumbiri, Charming, Pacific and PT Namyeung; 3d spacer moulded cups from Louis Vidon with creora performance; moisture management concept creora performance from Sofileta; eco-friendly fabric collection with creora eco from Fountain Set, with bamboo from Flotats and recycled Nylon Mipan regen from Sunhing and Jin Young; seamless shaping in partnership with Nilit and from Tefron with creora eco; UV protection askin development with Miti; soft cotton with creora performance from Fountainset and Saelim; and blacker black fabrics with creora black and new novelties from Penn Asia and other partners.

Garment innovations included a collection made by Hong Kong-based lingerie company Chung Yai, featuring creora. Garments featuring H-550 and other creora eco elastanes included collections from: Fountain Set; Saelim Textiles; Louis Vidon; Sofileta; Flotats; and PT Winnersumbiri.
