Swiss textile firms to present new trends at PV
A number of Swiss textile producers will present new products and collections for autumn-winter 2009-10 at Première Vision and Expofil, both of which will take place on September 23-26.
Products will include ultra-fine yarns, cotton fabrics made using eco-friendly production methods, weaves with floral patterns and voluminous fabrics with shimmer and lacquer effects.
Nine of the Swiss firms be participating will offer "swiss+cotton" products in their product segment. From the raw material to yarn production and the actual woven fabric, the "swiss+cotton" quality label complies with strictly-monitored social, environmental and technology standards. Across all of the production processes, two-thirds of the value addition takes place in Switzerland.
